In Jose Rizal Memorial State University, we (students) are empowered to learn fully, effectively, efficiently, flexibly and or with rewarding satisfaction. We are allowed as well to modify a course in terms to the content, activities, assessments, location, technology used and communication medium, since, our instructors or the instructors of the school uses the Flexible Learning System. An approach to learning in which the time, place, and pace of learning has been determined by us, students.
Consequently, we (students) are developing graduate attributes (globally competitive, industry relevant, effective communicator, innovative, lifelong-learner and service driven), enabling us to become future-ready, now.
- As effective global citizens, who recognize and challenge inequality, especially now that technology makes the world more accessible and it increases intercultural interactions, we will display an ethical approach in our intellectual, professional and personal precepts. We will show respect for ourselves, for others, and for our environment. We will demonstrate our dreams by always aiming high to sprained an exemplary work ethic and striving to succeed. Additionally, we will display compassion and be empathetic, demonstrating care for ourselves and our fellow human beings. We will be renowned for our resilience, perseverance and our capacity for problem solving and personal being. And thus, our integrity will shine through and we will be known for being trustworthy, ethical and dependable.
- As industry-relevant individual, we will work more closely with industry just in order to recognize our needs. We will be more likely to succeed in the workforce and more aptly skilled for gainful employment.
- As pro creators, evaluators and communicators of knowledge, we will continuously create and share our learnings to benefit society and global and local economies as we will be equipped with the intellectual curiosity.
- As independent and creative thinkers, we will innovate and will have the ability and agility to think differently, challenge and disrupt the status-quo and create and add value.
- As lifelong learners, as well as digitally fluent “net natives”, we will apply our digital skills to ensure that we are poised to fully leverage the opportunities to live, learn and lead in a digital society.
- As socially responsible and service driven, we will embrace opportunities, to identify, devise and implement equitable and sustainable solutions to real life problems in our communities and at a global level.
The graduate attributes we develop at JRMSU will define our way of being and doing and our commitment to making the future, a better place for us all, where we will inspire and be inspired to begin, belong and become.
